Mask
Run the tape along every edge where the frame meets brick, stone, glass or a seal. Press the edge down with a thumb. Clean, dry surface, at least 10 °C.

Prep
Spray Prep+ and wipe. The adhesive is compatible with waterborne and solvent products, so the degreaser will not lift it.

Coat
Apply Pro-Tech+ right up to the tape. The 125 µm backing leaves a low, sharp edge instead of a ridge.

Peel
Within three days, pull the tape back on itself at a low angle. One piece, no residue, a line you could cut yourself on.
Why not the beige roll from the DIY shop?
- Beige tape bleeds under a wipe-on coating. The Q1 edge stays sharp.
- Cheap tape bakes onto a dark frame in the sun and leaves glue behind. Q1 lifts off clean after three days outdoors.
- Opaque tape hides the line. Q1 is translucent, so you place it exactly where the coating should stop.
